It’s hard to love Someone you’ve never met.
To meet Me, you have to give up the idea that you can figure Me out. That’s a purely intellectual pursuit. I’m not an idea. I’m a living Being Who can hear the thoughts of all the billions of humans in this world at the same time.
You can’t logicize your way to Omniscience. Your mind doesn’t even know everything that’s happening in your own world much less in the universe.
You can’t decide for Me how I’m supposed to look and act. I Am Who I Am.
You can’t define My existence to fit your purposes any more than you can squeeze an elephant into your eardrum.
You can’t create My image. I’m the One Who created yours.
Until you humble yourself and get honest with Me, you won’t learn of Me.
Humility gives truth a place to be, and vice versa.
When you say, “I don’t understand. I don’t get it,” I nod.
When you sigh, “You are a puzzle to me,” I wait.
When you ask, “How can there be an afterlife?” I hold a reservation in my dwelling place just for you.
When you finally kneel, bow, and feel speechless, you are on the right path, the one that leads you to My open arms.
Think of it this way:
What if you’re wrong and I am real?
What if there is an afterlife, and I’m the only One Who can take you there?
What if I’m everything you ever wanted or needed?
What if you go through your whole life empty and unsatisfied just because you refuse to give Me a chance to teach you what REAL LOVE feels like?
When you finally realize that you cannot “make sense” of me and you open your heart without reference to your fallible brain, I’ll reveal Myself to you.
Heart to heart.
That’s how I work,
And for the first time in your life, you’ll taste and receive My unconditional love inside of your innermost being where I can delight in you and you in Me..
Then I’ll show You that I’ve been there all the time, and I will never leave you for that would break both our hearts.
I will whisper My mysteries to you at night, greet you in the morning light, and keep you safe at home with Me forever.
