How to Catch an Armadillo: Recently my daughter noticed some strange markings in her front yard that contained nail marks and lines. She had no clue what caused it but thought perhaps moles left the trail..But when she hired an expert, she was surprised to learn that an armadillo had moved into her neighborhood. Do you know how to catch an armadillo? Interestingly armadillos forge a routine path during their nocturnal feedings. Once they establish the path, they go the same route night after night and rarely deviate from it. Thus, as explained by the pest control expert, the solution is to simply put a trap on the trail. It doesn’t even have to contain food, because the armadillo will walk right into it because, well, that’s what armadillos do.
Moral of story: Just because your favorite path is super comfortable doesn’t mean you take it no matter what.
